Wild Card Weekend Weekly Watch for Super Bowl 2025 Odds

The 2024 NFL regular season is all wrapped up and 14 teams now have made the playoffs and given themselves a chance to win Super Bowl 59. With that in mind, it’s past time to start thinking about Super Bowl betting and which team you think can go all the way. Tracking those futures odds on Super Bowl betting sites can be crucial to making the right pick at the right time to maximize your bet’s value.

Odds for betting on the Super Bowl change on a weekly basis as well, usually as a result of a team’s most recent performance or big news that broke recently, such as an injury to a major player. These odds are also heavily affected by public sentiment and where the majority of bettors believe a team stands in relation to their fellow competitors. The key is to try and time your bet for when you believe a team’s odds will be at their longest, so you can get the best value. Let’s take a look at the top contenders.

NFL 2024 Super Bowl Winner Odds Leaderboard (Pre-Wild Card Weekend)

TeamCurrent OddsKey Notes
Detroit Lions+275Announcement on the return of Aidan Hutchinson could shorten these odds in a hurry.
Kansas City Chiefs+350K.C.’s odds are likely to move significantly depending on who they get for their second round matchup.
Baltimore Ravens+550Ravens have not lost since their Week 14 bye.
Buffalo Bills+600Bills are the only team to have beaten Patrick Mahomes this season.
Philadelphia Eagles+700Philly’s odds rose with Jalen Hurts out, but they have gone back down and settled here after reports that he cleared concussion protocol.

Detroit Lions (+275)

The Lions look unstoppable right now, as their offense has continued to shine while their piecemeal defense is playing much better as injured starters begin to trickle back into the lineup. Pro Bowl edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson is expected back earlier than expected, perhaps even next week, and that should shorten these odds even further. If you’re wagering on the Super Bowl winner and like the Lions, there’s no time like the present.

Baltimore Ravens (+550)

Lamar Jackson had another stellar season, and the Ravens come into this playoff matchup with the division rival Steelers on a roll. They have won four straight, including a 34-17 romp over this same team at this same stadium just a few weeks ago. These odds would likely be shorter if not for Jackson’s past issues both against the Steelers and in high pressure playoff situations.

Philadelphia Eagles (+700)

There was a little bit of a wobble there for the Eagles and their Super Bowl odds as QB Jalen Hurts took longer than expected to clear the concussion protocol. But he’s done it now, which means he’s ready to roll. Philly will be fresh after taking a week off for most of their starters in Week 18. They also have an arguably easier road to the end than the Lions. If Philly wins in the Wild Card, they would likely take on the 10-win Bucs in the next round, while Detroit might need to take on the 14-win Vikings.
