For the first time in over six years, Israel Adesanya (24-4) will be fighting without a belt on the line. He’ll be taking on up-and-coming Frenchman Nassourdine Imavov (15-4, 1 NC) in the main event. The lines we’re getting from UFC betting sites are pretty tight here, which means the Last Stylebender is offering a ton of value both on the moneyline and for a win via decision.

Imavov has beaten some decent names, but Brendan Allen is nowhere near the striker Adesanya is, and Jared Cannonier was already on the wrong side of 40 when Imavov caught him. Meanwhile, Adesanya has been hanging with the best of the best in the division for years. Imavov has also only gone the full five rounds twice, losing one and eking out a majority decision in the other.

Meanwhile, Adesanya has fought into the 5th round nine times since joining the UFC, including five straight five-round fights from 2021 to 2022. Adesanya doesn’t strike with as much accuracy or volume as Imavov, but he’s still much more effective in the standup. He’s got real one-shot knockout power that Imavov doesn’t quite have at 185 pounds, and he can vary his striking to a frustrating degree for his opponents.

To get a win here, Imavov would likely have to take Adesanya down to the mat, but even there, we don’t think the Frenchman’s going to be that comfortable. It’s hard to see Imavov getting around Adesanya’s elite kick-boxing, so we like the favorite here a lot. If you’re feeling frisky, take him by decision, as Imavov has only ever been stopped once. However, we’re going to play it safe here and take his reasonable moneyline odds.

Best Bet: Israel Adesanya Moneyline (-163)

This will be an interesting matchup between two of the most intriguing fighters in the promotion. The undefeated Shara Magomedov (15-0) has finally made it to the top 15, sitting at No. 14 after four straight wins to begin his UFC career, including two finishes. Michael Page (23-3), now 38, will basically have to try to play matador against Magomedov, who fights like a Tasmanian Devil with a sniper scope.

Page can jab and duck and move, but at a certain point Magomedov is gonna stop him from running, and then, Page will be at a disadvantage, even if he is a very technically gifted striker. Maybe if this was Page from five years ago, but at 38, it’s tough to see a path to victory for him against the non-stop pressure and smothering style of Magomedov.

Not to mention that Page is actually going up 15 pounds from welterweight to middleweight for this fight, so he’s not exactly in his comfort zone. We like the local favorite either on the moneyline, or via decision, the latter of which is offering more value at +130 odds at most Canadian sportsbooks

Best Bet: Shara Magomedov (-188)

Two top 10 guys will be throwing haymakers at each other in this one, so make sure you don’t miss it. Sergei Pavlovich (18-3) has the advantages in height, reach, and age over his Surinamese counterpart, Jairzinho Rozenstruik (15-5). Both these guys hand out and receive a ton of damage. The Russian has the power advantage, however, averaging 3.2 knockdowns per 15 minutes compared to Rozenstruik’s 0.89.

Bigi Boy was unable to finish a completely gassed out Tai Tuivasa in his last fight, which was a split decision win. Pavlovich, meanwhile, took Tuivasa out in under a minute. There’s not a lot of value to be found here, and we very rarely take props with odds shorter than -200, but they’re not really leaving us much choice. We like Pavlovich to win by KO/TKO at -225 odds, but if you want something offering a little more value, go for him to get the finish in Round 1 at -115 odds.

Best Bet: Sergei Pavlovich To Win via KO/TKO/DQ (-225)
