UFC enters partnerships with Parimatch and NetBet
The UFC entered partnerships with Parimatch and NetBet this month. The partnership with Parimatch made the sportsbook the UFC’s official sportsbook and betting partner in Asia. UFC senior vice president and head of Asia, Kevin Chang, explained why a partnership with Parimatch is good for the sport. “Parimatch has been a trusted partner and we are thrilled to extend this collaboration to Asia,” Chang said. “Their support is instrumental in our efforts to give local athletes the opportunity to compete in the Road to UFC tournament and ultimately help them realize their dreams of making it to UFC. Together, we are driving the growth of our sport and delivering world-class experiences to fans across the region.” With their partnership with Parimatch and NetBet, the UFC adds two betting sites to its list of partnerships. The Parimatch and NetBet logos recently showed up in the octagon at UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Brady.
The partnership with NetBet made the sportsbook the UFC’s official sportsbook and betting partner for the UK, Ireland, Greece, Italy, and Romania. TKO senior vice president Nicholas Smith commented on the partnership with NetBet. “As UFC continues to grow and expand across Europe, it’s great to bring on such a reputable betting partner who already has a strong, established UFC fanbase,” Smith said. “We couldn’t be kicking it off at a better time than with UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Brady, our marquee event this year in London, UK.” The UFC is an MMA organisation that puts on fights with fighters from all over the world and hosts events in multiple countries.
The sportsbooks weigh in
According to the UFC, their new agreement with Parimatch builds upon an earlier relationship that had Parimatch serving as the UFC’s official sportsbook partner across some regions worldwide. Parimatch owner Sergei Portnov commented on partnering with the UFC. “Today we start off a new era in the Parimatch partnership with UFC, built on the same strong values we share in serving UFC fans worldwide and delivering unforgettable moments,” Portnov said. “We’re excited to be back, ready to create even greater experiences for fans with the opportunities that lie ahead of us.”
NetBet CEO Marcel Prioteasa commented on their partnership with the UFC. “We are excited to become the European betting partner of UFC, uniting the adrenaline-pumping action of the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation with the elite betting experience our customers expect,” Prioteasa said. “As we gear up for our biggest year yet in 2025, and with a loyal and growing MMA community, this partnership lets us bring fans even closer to the Octagon with exciting new ways to engage with the sport they enjoy.”
