No. 7 Michael Chandler vs. No. 12 Paddy Pimblett Lightweight Co- Main Event Bout Betting Odds
Michael Chandler (23-9) has lost four of his last five, but those losses came to Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, and Charles Oliveira. Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett (22-3), meanwhile, has not lost since 2018. But his biggest wins have come against over-the-hill Bobby Green and Tony Ferguson. The fact that he couldn’t finish Tony at this point in his career wasn’t impressive either.
Pimblett being the favorite at UFC betting sites here really doesn’t make much sense to us considering the track records here. Unless Pimblett finds the button and puts Chandler down via the 39-year-old’s waning chin (Pimblett only has two KO/TKO wins since 2016), we think Chandler’s experience, better conditioning and preparation, and more well-rounded game as a wrestler give him the advantage here—especially when he’s offering plus money.
Best Bet: Michael Chandler Moneyline (+160)
No. 5 Yair Rodriguez vs. Patricio Pitbull Featherweight Bout Betting Odds
In another top flight featherweight matchup, a top five contender and former interim champ Yair Rodriguez (19-5, 1 NC) welcomes 37-year-old and former Bellator champ Patricio Pitbull (36-7) to the UFC. Rodriguez is coming off a bad loss to Brian Ortega last year, but we’re still shocked the odds betting apps are giving on the 37-year-old making his UFC debut.
With just three rounds to get used to the UFC octagon against an aggressive striker like Rodriguez, we don’t think Pitbull is going to have enough time to get comfortable and prove himself. Take the guy with the proven track record against top UFC competition here.
Best Bet: Yair Rodriguez Moneyline (-188)
No. 13 Bryce Mitchell vs. Jean Silva Featherweight Bout Betting Odds
Jean Silva (15-2) has really impressed since joining the UFC, finishing all four of his fights with the promotion. Bryce Mitchell (17-2), meanwhile, has met some stiffer competition of late, losing two of his last four to Ilia Topuria and Josh Emmett. Mitchell is about as unlikable as they come, but he’s offering insane value here against Silva, who is relatively unproven. The bet here is on whether Mitchell can get Silva to the ground and control proceedings. After seeing Charles Jourdain take Silva down thrice, we think “Thug Nasty” will be able to get the upset here, much as we hate to say it.
Best Bet: Bryce Mitchell Moneyline (+170)
No. 8 Nikita Krylov vs. No. 11 Dominick Reyes Light Heavyweight Bout Betting Odds
You’ve got to feel for Dominick Reyes (14-4). His career has taken a plunge since losing a questionable decision to Jon Jones. He’s been knocked out three times, and his two wins have come against guys who are well past their primes. He’s still got power, though. Nikita Krylov (30-9) also brings a concrete chin and cement in his hands to proceedings. We’re not sure who will get the kill shot, we just know there will be one.
Best Bet: Fight Total Rounds Under 2.5 (-160)
