Bodog’s X/Twitter Contests
Sports bettors have been winning money with Bodog’s X/Twitter contests. The sportsbook has been running contests and giveaways on the official Bodog X/Twitter account. The latest was the Run It Back contest. The contest asked bettors to predict how many hits the Toronto Blue Jays would have against the Seattle Mariners on July 7. To enter, bettors needed to follow the official Bodog account on X/Twitter. Then, bettors needed to retweet and reply with a guess. “We’ll pick a lucky winner. If no one guesses correct, the pot will grow by $10.” Bodog received multiple replies, ranging from five to 16.

These contests and giveaways have been frequent over the past couple of months. And there have been many different types of giveaways and contests that focus on different leagues, mainly the most popular sports. The sportsbook credits winners with money via their Bodog account.
More contests
Play Your Picks Right is another contest that Bodog has run multiple times over the last couple of months. For a shot at a prize pot, bettors are asked to predict whether or not a player will go over or under a chosen number for a statistical category. On June 15, Bodog released a Play Your Picks Right contest for the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals. Retweet “and vote below telling us if you think Vladimir Tarasenko will have over or under 1 goal tonight in game 4 against the Oilers! If the group votes correctly, we'll add another $10 to the pot and do it all over again next game and keep going as the pot keeps growing!”
Bodog has also given away Tim Hortons vouchers worth $50 with the Bodog Giveaway. For one, the winner needed to pick a player to score for the game six playoff game between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers. The winner chose the Oilers’ Zach Hyman. These contests and giveaways have given Bodog bettors a chance to show off their sports knowledge and win money. The contests and giveaways have also given Bodog the opportunity to engage with some of their bettors and potentially attract new people to the sportsbook.
Name the Player is another contest that bettors will find. Bodog will give some information about a player in the form of hints. Bettors need to guess the player for a chance to win. One of these was for a former Oilers goalie, another was for a Toronto Blue Jays legend.
More with Bodog on X/Twitter
Bodog also asks their followers to answer some interesting questions. Would you rather have tickets to the Super Bowl or tickets to the Stanley Cup Finals? Would you rather the Toronto Raptors draft Bronny James or Zach Edey with the number 31 pick in the draft? Bodog has also created word search puzzles and spot the differences games. These games don’t have prizes, but they could be a fun way for some bettors to have some fun and show their sports knowledge.
