I think Betway is up there as one of the best sportsbooks available to Canadian bettors.

Betway's welcome bonus is a solid standout. They offer a $200 bet token refund, which is an exciting iteration on a welcome offer. Typically, the industry standard is $100 to $200. Their offer differs from the more standard matched deposit, but it is an exciting change. 

Betway has a lot of different bonuses that can pay off in several different sports, and I like that their selection of bonus options is seasonally based. Their promotion page changes based on the sporting events being played, so it gives bettors some additional excitement.

I found Betway sports coverage and markets perfect for what I look for in an operator. They have every league I would bet on, like the NHL, NBA, NFL, NCAA, MLB, and every major soccer league. There are no major holes in their sports coverage unless you’re a fan of an extremely niche sport. But for the typical Canadian bettor such as myself, their markets and sports offered are top-notch.

Banking with Betway was easy and fast. They have a huge variety of payment methods, and the money heads straight to your account. Withdrawals take a bit longer, but this is the norm in the industry so it didn’t come as any shock to me. I used debit to gamble with Betway, and it was a smooth process throughout.

Betway customer support is also extremely high-quality.  My lone complaint with this area would be how hard it is to access the Live Chat. But considering how helpful their Help Center page is, most people won’t even need to access the live chat.

Player props are props based on individual players. For example, how many points will Kevin Durant score in an NBA game, or how many Touchdowns will Patrick Mahomes have in an NFL game.

Types of Bets Available

• Live Betting: Live betting is betting on a game that is already in progress. The odds are constantly being updated in Live Betting games based on what is happening within the game. Betway has an extensive live betting section with a lot of fun live markets.
• Parlay Betting: Parlay betting is when bettors tie several different bets into one. These bets only hit if all the bets within them are successful. The odds are more favourable than if each bet was placed individually, but because each one needs to hit, these bets are harder to consistently win.
• Enhanced Odds: Enhanced odds are when the sportsbooks take certain odds and make the payout higher for bettors. It is only with select odds and typically bettors won’t be improving odds that are favoured to hit. Bettors can find the enhanced odds for the day on Betway under the Betway Boosts section.

A mobile app is something a lot of sports bettors consider a must-have. It is something only major operators will tend to have, so expecting every brand to have one is a mistake. Luckily, Betway is a major operator, and they have a mobile app available for Candian bettors.

Downloading the app took me no time at all. Finding the app was easy, and it was downloaded within under a minute. After logging in from my phone, I was good to go.

I was connected with an automated associate, and then eventually a real representative, quite quickly. While I wish it was easier to access, the representative was friendly and helpful and would be an asset to anyone experiencing issues.
