Some of the usual betting markets that bettors will find for Formula 1 are winner of a grand prix, winner of the drivers’ championship, winner of the constructors’ championship, driver head-to-head matchups, team head-to-head matchups, and more. F1’s latest partnership is a step towards bringing F1 bettors new betting markets. The announcement of the partnership is almost two weeks before the first race of the 2025 season, the Australian Grand Prix. Formula 1 announces partnership with ALT Sports Data

On Friday, Formula 1 announced a new betting partnership with ALT Sports Data that could help bring new betting markets to F1 bettors. Through this partnership, ALT Sports Data became the official betting data supplier for F1.

“Sports betting is an increasingly important part of the global fan experience, and Formula 1 is committed to delivering new and entertaining ways for our audiences to engage with the sport. We are delighted to partner with ALT Sports Data, whose expertise in bespoke sports betting markets and analytics makes them the perfect partner to help us drive forward in this exciting new chapter,” F1 chief commercial officer Emily Prazer said.

According to F1, ALT Sports Data will develop betting-focused real-time predictive analytics for the sport through this partnership. ALT Sports Data will also provide proprietary data and priced odds solutions for the wagering industry. This F1 and ALT Sports Data partnership will give F1 fans the chance to bet on new markets thanks to data that is accurate, consistent, and ratified. ALT Sports Data co-founder Todd Ballard spoke about entering a partnership with F1.

Upcoming F1 season details

The first race of the F1 season is the Australian Grand Prix that is scheduled for March 16. Qualifying for the Australian GP is scheduled for March 15. On the betting sites, Lando Norris is the betting favourite to win the Australian GP. On Bodog, Norris has +200 odds to win the race. Max Verstappen has the second best odds at +275. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have the third and fourth best odds. Leclerc has +400 odds. Hamilton has +600 odds.

Norris also has the best odds to win the drivers’ championship. Norris is the betting favourite with +190 odds. Similar to the upcoming Australian Grand Prix, Verstappen +275, Leclerc +450, and Hamilton +475 have the next best odds. McLaren and Ferrari almost have the same odds to win the constructors’ championship heading into the season. McLaren are the +110 betting favourites. Ferrari are right behind at +130. Verstappen and Red Bull have the third best odds at +500.
