We bet on Chelsea with these same odds last week, and were rewarded. Chelsea is top 8 in both xG and xG against, while West Ham is middling offensively and one of just three squads to allow 10+ xG through the first four matches.

Aston Villa vs. Wolverhampton Soccer Betting Odds - 10AM E.T.

Aston Villa could easily be a perfect 4-0-0 if it weren’t for two shocking misses by Ollie Watkins in the loss to Arsenal. Wolves have lost by multiple goals in three of their four league matches, and Villa has the second-most xG in the league. We’re going to play it safe with the moneyline, but their -1 spread is definitely worth consideration.

Fulham vs. Newcastle Soccer Betting Odds - 10AM E.T.

Only four teams (Everton and the three promoted sides) have fewer xG than Newcastle, though Newcastle is one of just four teams overperforming their xG so far. Only five teams (same four plus West Ham) have allowed more xG against, and Newcastle has the largest difference between xG allowed and goals allowed (7.59 to 3). We won’t jump on Fulham to win, but they’ll get a result here at home against a paper tiger.

Leicester vs. Everton Soccer Betting Odds - 10AM E.T.

What are we going to do with Everton? We’ve bet against them every week, but they have really made us sweat over the last two. Are they ever going to learn to hold a lead? We’re not sure. What we do know is that there have been 3+ goals in all four of Everton’s matches, and ditto for three of Leicester City’s four. We’re taking the over on this one.

Liverpool vs. Bournemouth Soccer Betting Odds

Since December 2017, these teams have met 11 times. Liverpool won 10 of those, eight of which came by multiple goals, including seven where the final score was 3+ to nil. The -2 spread is a little bit rich for our blood, but the alternate -1 spread at -138 odds looks like just what the doctor ordered.

Southampton vs. Ipswich Town Soccer Betting Odds - 10AM E.T.

This is a massive fixture for both these sides, as each presents the best opportunity for the other to get their first win of the Premier League season. We think both sides are going to go after this game, which will result in some end-to-end action against two of the worst defensive lines in the league.

Tottenham vs. Brentford Soccer Betting Odds

Brentford has been great recently, while Spurs have been a bit uneven. While neither offense has been especially potent so far this season, the last four meetings between these squads saw both teams score and 4+ total goals. We’re taking the value here.

Manchester United has looked brutal to start this campaign, and the athleticism and raw talent of Crystal Palace should give their aging back line and midfield fits. Palace has gone undefeated the last four times United have come to Selhurst Park, and Palace has even won two of the last four meetings at Old Trafford. They’re going to get something here.
