Brighton vs. Manchester United Soccer Betting Odds
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Both Teams to Score | Total Goals |
Brighton | +150 | -1 (+350) | Yes (-200) | O2.5 (-175) |
Manchester United | +162 | +1 (-200) | No (+150) | U2.5 (+137) |
Draw | +270 | -1 (+350) | | |
Brighton had almost double the points at home (30) as they did on the road (18) last year. They’ve also had Manchester United’s number in recent years, having won four of their last five Premier League meetings since 2022. Manchester United has tended to struggle a bit more against the mid-table teams in recent years, and we think that trend continues here.
Best Bet: Brighton to Win (+150)
Crystal Palace vs. West Ham Soccer Betting Odds
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Both Teams to Score | Total Goals |
Crystal Palace | +115 | -1 (+300) | Yes (-150) | O2.5 (-125) |
West Ham | +220 | +1 (-150) | No (+110) | U2.5 (+100) |
Draw | +260 | +1 (+300) | | |
West Ham should have gotten it last week, but were extremely unlucky to depart their match with Aston Villa with zero points. West Ham was excellent away from home last year, putting up the 8th-most away points, while Palace ranked lower on the home table than the away. We like the Hammers to get their first win of the season here.
Best Bet: West Ham to Win (+220)
Fulham vs. Leicester City Soccer Betting Odds
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Both Teams to Score | Total Goals |
Fulham | -125 | -1 (+210) | Yes (-134) | O2.5 (-125) |
Leicester City | +320 | +1 (-106) | No (+100) | U2.5 (+100) |
Draw | +280 | +1 (+275) | | |
Leicester City surprised Tottenham last week with a cheeky 1-1 draw, and we like them to continue their strong return to the Premier League in Matchweek 2. They allowed Spurs to take 70 percent of the ball, but they allowed just two big chances. Fulham were lucky to 1-0 against a suspect Manchester United team last week, so we expect the EPL-experienced Leicester City squad to get a result here.
Best Bet: Leicester City Double Chance (-106)
Manchester City vs. Ipswich Town Soccer Betting Odds
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Both Teams to Score | Total Goals |
Manchester City | -1,100 | -3 (+175) | Yes (+125) | O2.5 (-334) |
Ipswich Town | +1,800 | +3 (-105) | No (-175) | U2.5 (+250) |
Draw | +1,100 | +3 (+350) | | |
Ipswich Town represented themselves well last week, but it was clear that they were up against it against Liverpool, even in their first EPL game at home in over 20 years. Manchester City are much better than Liverpool offensively, and with Ipswich now hitting the road, this could get ugly. A -3 line in this type of football betting is excessive, so we look to the alternative spread for our best bet here.
Best Bet: Manchester City -2 Spread (-125)
Southampton vs. Nottingham Forest Soccer Betting Odds
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Both Teams to Score | Total Goals |
Southampton | +150 | -1 (+400) | Yes (-143) | O2.5 (-110) |
Nottingham Forest | +175 | +1 (-200) | No (+105) | U2.5 (-110) |
Draw | +240 | +1 (+333) | | |
This one’s a tough call, because Southampton are familiar with the Premier League, and Forest are still getting acclimated. The latter are probably the worst team that avoided relegation last year, and Southampton are probably the worst promoted team. This one’s tough to call, but in three of their last four meetings, these teams have combined for 3+ goals, with two of those seeing 5+ goals.
Best Bet: Over 2.5 Total Goals (-110)
Tottenham vs. Everton Soccer Betting Odds
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Both Teams to Score | Total Goals |
Tottenham | -239 | -1 (+110) | Yes (-143) | O2.5 (-200) |
Everton | +550 | +1 (+175) | No (+105) | U2.5 (+162) |
Draw | +260 | +1 (+300) | | |
Luckily for Spurs, they have a very strong recent history against Everton, as they have not lost a PL match to the Merseyside club since 2020. We’ll play it a little bit safer here and take Spurs to bounce back and get the win at less-than-ideal -239 odds.
Best Bet: Tottenham to Win (-239)
Aston Villa vs. Arsenal Soccer Betting Odds
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Both Teams to Score | Total Goals |
Aston Villa | +333 | +1 (+100) | Yes (-150) | O2.5 (-138) |
Arsenal | -134 | -1 (+200) | No (+110) | U2.5 (+110) |
Draw | +280 | -1 (+275) | | |
Last year, during the run-in, Aston Villa rested their starters and were dominated by City, then plugged the first-team back in for their match against Arsenal, which they won. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is not one to forget a slight.
Since Ivan Toney’s cheeky tweet after beating Arsenal in the season opener in 2021, Arsenal are undefeated against Brentford in six matches. After Newcastle won a very haughty 1-0 match early last season that was arguably the most controversial of the campaign, Arsenal came back on the return fixture and dominated, going up 4-0 before winning 4-1. Arteta will once again get his revenge here.
Best Bet: Arsenal to Win (-134)
