All odds provided by Betway.

Ipswich Town vs. Liverpool Soccer Betting Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadBoth Teams to ScoreTotal Goals
Ipswich Town+800+2 (+100)Yes (-150)O2.5 (-250)
Liverpool-334-2 (+187)No (+110)U2.5 (+200)
Draw+475-2 (+333)

Liverpool will be kicking off a new era, with Arne Slot taking over as manager for the beloved Jurgen Klopp. Ipswich Town, meanwhile, will be playing their first Premier League game since 2002.

Newly promoted teams tend to come out of the blocks well, while teams with new managers tend to take some time to get in a groove. Ipswich Town’s +2 spread at +100 odds is offering a ton of value here, especially considering they’re playing at home.

Best Bet: Ipswich Town +2 Spread (+100)

Arsenal vs. Wolverhampton Soccer Betting Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadBoth Teams to ScoreTotal Goals
Arsenal-550-2 (+137)Yes (+110)O2.5 (-225)
Wolverhampton+1,200+2 (+140)No (-150)U2.5 (+175)
Draw+650+2 (+300)

Arsenal have looked solid in preseason, and they are relatively healthy heading into this campaign. On the flip side, Wolves are dealing with several injuries, including to Matheus Cunha, who’s expected to miss the game. That only compounds the loss of Pedro Neto, who departed to Chelsea.

Arsenal have fared well against Wolves in recent years, bringing a six-match winning streak against Wolves into this contest. During that stretch, they’ve outscored Wolves 14-2. Despite all of that, a -2 spread is asking a lot, so a better bet would be Arsenal’s alternative -1 spread at decent -188 odds.

Best Bet: Arsenal -1 Spread (-188)

Everton vs. Brighton Soccer Betting Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadBoth Teams to ScoreTotal Goals
Everton+162+1 (-225)Yes (-163)O2.5 (-125)
Brighton+162-1 (+400)No (+120)U2.5 (+100)
Draw+230-1 (+350)

Both times these sides met last season, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. We expect something similar to happen on Saturday afternoon in Merseyside. Everton has lost their last two season openers, while Brighton has won their last three straight; Everton hasn’t lost three straight openers since 2012.

Brighton will be less of a threat after manager Robert de Zerbi’s departure, and Everton manager Sean Dyche always plays games tight. We think this will be the third straight 1-1 result in this fixture, with the draw offering excellent +230 odds.

Best Bet: Draw (+230)

Newcastle vs. Southampton Soccer Betting Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadBoth Teams to ScoreTotal Goals
Newcastle-300-2 (+187)Yes (-150)O2.5 (-250)
Southampton+750+2 (-105)No (+110)U2.5 (+200)
Draw+425+2 (+333)

Newcastle United had one of the largest home and away discrepancies in the EPL last year. They finished fourth in the home table, but they were way down in 11th in the away table. Luckily, they start off this campaign back at home against a recently promoted side in Southampton.

Even in the Championship, Southampton allowed the 11th-most away goals last year, while Newcastle scored the second-most home goals in the PL. With that in mind, we like the over on Newcastle’s 2.5 goals prop at -120 odds.

Best Bet: Newcastle Over 2.5 Goals (-120)

Nottingham Forest vs. Bournemouth Soccer Betting Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadBoth Teams to ScoreTotal Goals
Nottingham Forest+137-1 (+350)Yes (-163)O2.5 (-125)
Bournemouth+190+1 (-188)No (+120)U2.5 (+100)
Draw+240+1 (+333)

Nottingham Forest’s away record since they rejoined the Premier League has already become the stuff of legend—and not in a good way. Because of that awful away form, they’re forced to be pretty darn good at home at the City Ground, which is where they will take on Bournemouth on Saturday.

Bournemouth were pretty solid last year, but after losing their top scorer, Dominic Solanke, goals might be hard to come by. Forest has not beaten Bournemouth since 2015, and we think this is the perfect situation for them to break that streak.

Best Bet: Nottingham Forest to Win (+137)

West Ham vs. Aston Villa Soccer Betting Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadBoth Teams to ScoreTotal Goals
West Ham+145-1 (+350)Yes (-200)O2.5 (-175)
Aston Villa+175+1 (-188)No (+150)U2.5 (+137)
Draw+260+1 (+350)

Aston Villa was one of the best squads in the EPL last year, earning wins against both Manchester City and Arsenal. They return most of the same core, with the same manager, so we’re not sure why oddsmakers are so low on them here.

Surely, they should be favored here, even if they are on the road. Villa will likely see a regression in form with the added Champions League fixtures, but that won’t affect them for some time yet. This is the easiest bet on the slate.

Best Bet: Aston Villa to Win (+175)
