Fulham vs Chelsea Odds
Moneyline | Fulham +175 | Chelsea +145 |
Total Goals | Over 2.5 (-133) | Under 2.5 (-105) |
Chelsea sits at +145 here on the moneyline, while Fulham returns at +175 at soccer betting sites. The Under at -105 odds offers value considering it hit in three of the last four meetings.
The Cottagers won the reverse fixture on Boxing Day by a score of 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, but the Blues were unbeaten in three meetings before that.
Fulham vs Chelsea Analysis
It’s been a respectable season for Fulham, who are just six points out of a European spot as things stand. They’ve compiled a 13-9-10 record, scoring 47 goals in 32 games while conceding 43. Although Marco Silva’s side has tasted defeat in three of their last four matches across all competitions, they did have an impressive victory during that span, upsetting league leaders Liverpool. Regardless, Fulham couldn’t keep the momentum going on matchday, losing to Bournemouth, who are right above them in the standings.
The Cottagers conceded within the first minute and could never recover, despite registering seven shots on target. Fulham was rather toothless in the final third, and it resulted in a gutwrenching defeat. Hopefully, Raul Jimenez, who has 10 goals to his name, can contribute on Sunday. He’s failed to hit the net in five consecutive games.
Chelsea has certainly improved in 2024-25 compared to last season and has a realistic shot at returning to Europe’s most prized competition. Under Enzo Maresca, the Blues have a 15-9-8 record, compiling 54 points from 32 games. The club is only three points out of the final UCL berth, which is held by Nottingham Forest right now.
However, that could be different if Chelsea played better on matchday 32. Ipswich Town is on the verge of relegation, yet the Blues couldn’t even beat them, needing a late Jadon Sancho equalizer to salvage a point. That was Chelsea’s second draw in a row in the Premier League. Needless to say, the visitors need a win badly, especially because their remaining schedule isn’t the easiest, either.
Fulham vs Chelsea Injury News
Fulham comes into this clash with a relatively clean bill of health. Reiss Nelson and Harry Wilson are the only absentees, but the latter is expected to return to the fold shortly before the campaign comes to a close. As for Chelsea, they’re also quite healthy. Wesley Fofana and Gabriel Slonina are the two players injured. Everyone else is ready to roll.
Fulham vs Chelsea Picks
The Blues have really struggled away from Stamford Bridge, going 6-4-6 this term. Although Fulham has managed to beat several top-tier opponents this season, I’ll take these two to share the spoils on Sunday at Craven Cottage in a cagey affair. Lock in the draw at +250.
