Chelsea vs Tottenham Odds

Chelsea is a heavy favorite in this London derby, sitting at -160 moneyline odds. Tottenham comes back as a heavy +360 underdog at most soccer betting sites. A draw is priced at +350.

Chelsea vs Tottenham H2H

There’s a clear reason why the Blues are expected to win here. They’ve come out victorious in eight of their last 10 meetings with Spurs, tasting defeat just once during that span. The reverse fixture in North London in December ended in a 4-3 win for Chelsea.

Dating back to 2018, Tottenham have only beaten the Blues five times. Needless to say, it’s understandable why Chelsea has such a high win probability.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Analysis

While there have been inconsistent moments throughout the campaign, Chelsea has certainly looked competitive. Enzo Maresca’s men have grabbed 49 points from 29 games, compiling a 14-7-8 record. The Blues have bagged 53 goals while conceding 37. Chelsea had won four games in a row until losing 1-0 to Arsenal in their most recent match on March 16.

Before that, however, they secured victories against Southampton and Leicester while beating Copenhagen across two legs in the Europa Conference League. Speaking of that competition, Chelsea is into the quarterfinals, which begin on April 10. The next week is a busy one for the Blues, who have three games in a span of just seven days.

It has been an ugly campaign for Spurs fans. This club is in shambles, going 10-4-15 this term. Tottenham has netted a respectable 55 times and has conceded 43, which isn’t terrible at first glance. The reality is that Spurs continue to lose a lot of close games.

In Tottenham’s last game in mid-March, they dropped another three points, suffering a 2-0 defeat to Fulham. It won’t get any easier on Thursday, either. The Lilywhites have lost three consecutive Premier League matches against Chelsea, who are playing for a lot more at this stage in the season, too. Sitting 10 points out of the top half, it does appear Spurs will finish in the bottom half of the table.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Injury News

The Blues will be happy to welcome back Cole Palmer, who missed the Arsenal game. Nicolas Jackson is also expected to return after nursing a long-term hamstring injury. Mykhalo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, and Marc Guiu remain sidelined. For Tottenham, they’re without Dejan Kuluveski, Richarlison, Radu Dragusin, and Kevin Danso.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Picks

Both of these sides have no issues hitting the back of the net. In fact, two of the last three meetings have had a minimum of five goals. Although the moneyline still offers some value, I’m also eyeing the Over 3.5 goals priced at -105. After all, their last clash was a seven-goal thriller. I expect the goals to be flowing on Thursday at Stamford Bridge.

Pick: Chelsea moneyline (-160), Over 3.5 goals (-105)
