Head-to-head history

Arsenal is just six points behind Liverpool in first, so this is a massive game for Arteta’s group. With the Reds facing in-form Nottingham Forest, anything is possible. Difficult campaign for Spurs
Despite enjoying some success in Cup action, it hasn’t been a banner season by any means for Tottenham. The club is in 12th spot in the standings with a dismal 7-3-10 record. They’ve scored 42 goals in 20 games while conceding 30. Ange Postecoglou’s squad has won just once in their last five Premier League outings.
At this point, even making the top six feels like a longshot for Spurs. But, games like Wednesday mean a lot to this club. Beating Arsenal is always a feather in their cap considering they’re Tottenham’s biggest rivals. It does help that the Lilywhites are riding a high over this last week, as previously mentioned. They beat Liverpool thanks to a Lucas Bergvall winner while also grabbing a victory in the FA Cup. The EFL Cup is their only realistic shot at any hardware this season.
Spurs’ attack has actually been quite impressive. James Maddison leads the way with eight goals and four assists, while Heung-min Son has scored five and assisted six as well. Dejan Kulusevski, Pedro Porro, and Dominic Solanke have all done their part as well. Tottenham will certainly need to bring their best to the Emirates since Arsenal has yet to drop a full three points there in 2024-25. The visitors are a major underdog at soccer betting sites.
