NFL Week 9 Sunday Afternoon Slate Betting Picks & Odds - November 3
All odds provided by Betway.
Dallas Cowboys @ Atlanta Falcons - 1PM
Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total |
Dallas Cowboys | +145 | +3.0 (+100) | O52.0 (-110) |
Atlanta Falcons | -170 | -3.0 (-120) | U52.0 (-110) |
The Dallas Cowboys are giving up the 2nd-most points per game, and they’ve been especially bad against the run, as they come into this one allowing the most rushing yards per game in the NFL. The Cowboys have lost all four contests in which they’ve allowed 100+ rushing yards, and the Falcons have put up 125+ over the last three weeks. Dallas is also 1-5 ATS over their last six games.
Best Bet: Atlanta Falcons -3.0 Point Spread (-120)
Denver Broncos @ Baltimore Ravens - 1PM
Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total |
Denver Broncos | +375 | +9.5 (-110) | O46.5 (-110) |
Baltimore Ravens | -500 | -9.5 (-110) | U46.5 (-110) |
Denver has been a dog of 6+ points in three games already this year, and they’ve covered the spread in all of them, winning two of them outright; they haven’t lost by more than seven all year. The Ravens have been favored by 7+ three times, and they didn’t cover in any of them, losing two of them outright.
Best Bet: Denver Broncos +9.5 Point Spread (-110)
Los Angeles Chargers @ Cleveland Browns - 1PM
Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total |
Los Angeles Chargers | -115 | -1.0 (-110) | O42.0 (-110) |
Cleveland Browns | -105 | +1.0 (-110) | U42.0 (-110) |
Jameis Winston gave the Browns a spark last week against a division rival, but here, against arguably the best defense in football, and with the emotion of last week dying down, it should be a different story. L.A. is allowing just 13.0 points a game this year, tops in the NFL, and with both sides lacking established playmakers, this one could turn into a rock fight. Take the under here at a generous number.
Best Bet: Game Total Under 42.0 (-110)
Las Vegas Raiders @ Cincinnati Bengals - 1PM
Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total |
Las Vegas Raiders | +270 | +7.0 (-110) | O45.0 (-110) |
Cincinnati Bengals | -340 | -7.0 (-110) | U45.0 (-110) |
The over looks good here, as both teams have topped the number NFL betting sites are offering for this game (45.0) in five of their last seven outings. Also, quite eerily, five of the last six games between these two teams have seen totals between 44 and 46. Buy this one down a bit and bet the over.
Best Bet: Alternative Game Total Over 43.5 (-148)
Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills - 1PM
Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total |
Miami Dolphins | +230 | +6.0 (-110) | O49.5 (-110) |
Buffalo Bills | -280 | -6.0 (-110) | U49.5 (-110) |
Considering Josh Allen has won 11 of 13 against Miami, including four straight, we love Buffalo in this spot. They’re on fire, and the Dolphins are still working Tua Tagovailoa back into the mix. Miami is also the 2nd-worst ATS team this year, at 1-6, while Buffalo is a solid 5-3. We like Buffalo’s spread, but we’ll buy it down a smidge.
Best Bet: Buffalo Bills Alternative -3.5 Point Spread (-152)
New England Patriots @ Tennessee Titans - 1PM
Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total |
New England Patriots | +140 | +3.0 (-110) | O38.5 (-110) |
Tennessee Titans | -165 | -3.0 (-110) | U38.5 (-110) |
As Bill Simmons would say, this is a poop-fecta game if we’ve ever seen one. However, the over is a sneaky good bet here. When Drake Maye starts, the over is 3-0 for the Pats and four of Tennessee’s last five games went over as well, including both contests that had a total under 40, like this one.
Best Bet: Game Total Points Over 38.5 (-110)
New Orleans Saints @ Carolina Panthers - 1PM
Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total |
New Orleans Saints | -360 | -7.0 (-115) | O43.5 (-110) |
Carolina Panthers | +280 | +7.0 (-105) | U43.5 (-110) |
The Panthers allow the second-most rushing yards to RBs per game, the Saints are likely to play with a lead against the hapless Panthers, and Saints starting QB Derek Carr is just coming back from an injury. All ingredients for a strong showing from Alvin Kamara.
Best Bet: Alvin Kamara Over 100 Scrimmage Yards (-170)
Washington Commanders @ New York Giants - 1PM
Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total |
Washington Commanders | -210 | -4.0 (-110) | O44.0 (-110) |
New York Giants | +175 | +4.0 (-110) | U44.0 (-110) |
The Giants are at home, but we’re not sure why they’re getting so much credit from betting sites. This is the easiest bet on the board; take Washington to cover, as they are 6-0-1 ATS since Week 2.
Best Bet: Washington Commanders -4.0 Point Spread (-110)
