We rode with the Panthers one too many times last week, but overall, they’ve been very good to us as underdogs. However, we don’t love when sports betting sites put spreads in the Vegas zone, so instead we’re looking at the total here. Carolina has hit the over in 10 of their 14 games, and the over is 3-1 when they have a spread above 45. Arizona’s last three games have all topped 45 as well.

The Bengals offense is about as good as it gets, which is a shame, because their defense is about as bad as it gets. However, they still have an outside chance at the postseason, they’re at home, and the Browns are giving Dorian Thompson-Robinson his first start of the season. This should be a cakewalk. If Jameis Winston was in there we might think twice about a spread as large as this, but there’s no way DTR can keep this game within a TD against Joe Burrow and Co. We’ll still buy this line down a smidge, though.

Chicago has been shellacked in back-to-back weeks, however, so we have a feeling they’re going to keep this one close. The safer bet, in our view, is a player prop on Jahmyr Gibbs, who is the bonafide bell cow back all of a sudden with David Montgomery out. Gibbs was already a monster when splitting carries, we expect him to gash a Bears defense that gives up more rush yards per game to running backs than all but one other team.
Best Bet: Jahmyr Gibbs 90+ Rush Yards (-125)

The Jets may be playing for pride, but the Rams are actually playing for their postseason lives, so we think one team may have a bit more urgency here. Not to mention that if they gave up 25 points to the Mac Jones-led Jags, there’s no way they’re slowing down Matthew Stafford and his weapons cache. The Jets are 0-4 straight up when they come into a game as dogs this season.

The Giants seem like they’ve made peace with the fact that they’d rather lose games than win them at this point of the season. They’re shooting for that No. 1 pick. Michael Penix Jr. is making his first career start, but there isn’t a defense you’d rather start off against than this New York unit.

After their big win over the Steelers last week and the Lions’ loss to the Bills, the Eagles have a real chance to claim home field advantage for the playoffs. This is a divisional matchup, which can make it tougher to call, but the Eagles have shown they can beat teams in a variety of ways, and Washington has not inspired confidence lately.

This is probably the toughest call on the board, because both of these teams are pretty much out of the race and both teams have been terrible of late. With that in mind, we look to the over here. The Titans have gone over in four of their last six, and the Colts have done the same in four of their last five.
Best Bet: Game Alternative Total Points Over 38.5 (-188)
