We went dumb mode in Week 13, nailing all seven of our picks, but we floated back down to earth with a 4/7 Sunday in Week 14. While the late window this Sunday is drawing all the attention, we were able to find some real value in the seven-game 1PM slate, as per usual. NFL Week 15 Sunday Afternoon Slate Betting Picks & Odds - December 15

Baltimore Ravens @ New York Giants - 1PM

NFL betting sites simply do not want anyone betting on this game’s moneyline or spread. Instead, we’ll look at New York’s biggest weakness: their run defense. They allow the 4th-most rushing yards to running backs (115.2). Ravens RB Derrick Henry has been a monster coming out of bye weeks throughout his career, posting 100-yard games in three of four such instances. Let’s make it four of five, Braided Henry.

Best Bet: Derrick Henry 100+ Rush Yards (-130)

Cincinnati Bengals @ Tennessee Titans - 1PM

Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are both playing out of their minds, but their swiss cheese defense has held them back. However, if there’s any QB that Cincy defense could keep in check, it’s Will Levis. The Bengals should win this one handily against a Titans team that seems to be packing it in.

Dallas Cowboys @ Carolina Panthers - 1PM

We’ve been rolling with these frisky Panthers for four weeks now, and we haven’t lost yet. They’ve covered five straight underdog spreads of 6.5 points or more coming into this one. Now, they are favored to win a game for the first time since December 2022. If the Panthers can keep up with the likes of the Chiefs and Eagles, they can certainly win straight up at home against Cooper Rush.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Cleveland Browns - 1PM

After failing to cover the spread in seven straight weeks, sportsbooks are finally giving the Chiefs a reasonable spread here. The Chiefs have struggled against poor teams recently, and the Browns have beaten a couple of playoff teams. However, many of those aforementioned results for Cleveland and K.C. were divisional clashes, which tend to be closer games. We’ve been betting against the Chiefs for weeks, but this is the time to flip.

Best Bet: Kansas City Chiefs Alternative -3.0 Point Spread (-152)

Miami Dolphins @ Houston Texans - 1PM

The Texans and Dolphins were supposed to be two of the best offenses in the league this year, but both have been massive disappointments. However, both have started to pick it up in recent weeks. Houston’s last four games have all hit 43+ points, while Miami’s last four have all topped 49 points. We like the over here, especially considering it’s in a dome. However, we’re still going to buy a couple points down.

Best Bet: Game Alternative Total Points Over 42.5 Points (-182)

New York Jets @ Jacksonville Jaguars - 1PM

The Jets have been a massive disappointment this season, there’s no getting around that. But they’ve lost a ton of close games. Apart from the Arizona loss, New York has kept it close every time. Now, they go up against a floundering Jacksonville team quarterbacked by Mac Jones. If Aaron Rodgers can’t get the win here, he is as cooked as his harshest critics claim.

Best Bet: New York Jets Moneyline (-170)

Washington Commanders @ New Orleans Saints - 1PM

With Derek Carr in there, the Saints have been a mediocre team. They’re 5-5 with their QB1 healthy—but they’re 0-3 without him. Those three losses all came by 18 or more, and that was with Spencer Rattler in. This time around, it’s Jake Haener. We can’t imagine the third-stringer keeping it close against Jayden Daniels, so we’re taking the Commanders spread here, though we’re going to buy a few points from sports betting sites for this one.
