The Detroit Lions have been the best ATS team this year, boasting a 9-2 record so far. They’ve even been good when it comes to covering those massive point spreads. However, this is a divisional game, so we don’t love taking such a massive spread, especially considering this game is being played on a short week.
Detroit will be missing several of their top cornerbacks for the game, so while we trust the Lions offense, we don’t trust their defense. With that in mind, we’ll bet strictly on the best unit in football. Detroit has topped 30 points in five of their last eight games, and they haven’t scored fewer than 24 since Week 3. We’ll take the Lions offense to continue their hot streak here.
Player Prop Best Bets
We expect a game script that will see the Lions leading for much of the game, as they do most weeks. With that in mind, we’re looking at Jahmyr Gibbs for the Lions. The youngster has been Mr. Reliable this year, posting 63+ rush yards in every game but Week 1 this season.
He has also hit the over on his rushing yards prop in all but one of those games, and while sports betting sites are testing us with his highest prop number of the year, we still like him to eclipse it. Chicago has also allowed four straight RBs to hit this number as well.
On the other side, we like Rome Odunze to have a big day. He had just 39 yards last week, but he had a whopping 10 targets for the second straight game. With Carlton Davis and Terrion Arnold out, the Bears should be able to throw, and Odunze will be the No. 1 beneficiary.
Best Bets:
- Detroit Lions Over 30.5 Points (-110)
- Jahmyr Gibbs 70+ Rushing Yards (-145)
- Rome Odunze Over 42.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

This one’s gonna be ugly. There’s just no way around it. The Dallas Cowboys are missing a litany of key players, and the Giants will be on their third QB in three weeks. However, their third QB might be their best. We’ve already seen Drew Lock embrace the bright lights last year in primetime, so why not on Thanksgiving? We’re expecting a big performance from Lock and a bounce back effort from the Giants after all the negativity they’ve dealt with recently.
Player Prop Best Bets
The Cowboys and Giants own the second- and third-worst run defenses in the NFL. They’re also both bottom four in yards allowed per carry. The Cowboys have seen the likes of Isaac Guerendo run all over them while the Giants have allowed a player to rush for 70+ yards in five straight games. We like the line we’re getting for N.Y.'s Tyrone Tracy a lot better than the one NFL betting sites gave us for Dallas’ Rico Dowdle, but both feel like safe bets considering the porous defenses with which they’re matching up.
Best Bets:
- New York Giants +3.5 Point Spread (-110)
- Tyron Tracy Over 64.5 Rush Yards (-110)
- Rico Dowdle Over 70.5 Rush Yards (-110)

Miami has been on a roll recently, winning their last three in a row, and all by 8+ points. However, they head to frigid Lambeau Field on Thursday, and we all know how the Dolphins deal with the cold. It’s supposed to be sub-zero degrees Celsius on game day with the chance of snow. That sounds like a Packers-type of game if we ever heard one.
Player Prop Best Bets
Despite our weather expectations, we believe Tyreek Hill will have a nice day under the lights. He’s a primetime fiend, and he’s been pushing on social media (and surely behind closed doors) for more looks from Tua Tagovailoa. His number sits at just 63.5, so we’re not asking much from the Cheetah here either.
Best Bets:
- Green Bay Packers -3.0 Point Spread (-120)
- Tyreek Hill Over 63.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
