When are Sam Darnold and the Vikes going to get some respect? They are 9-2 on the year and they’re also 7-3-1 ATS, which is the 4th-best mark in the league this year. The Cardinals are a good football team, but they’ve been inconsistent, and the Vikings have taken care of business against much better outfits. They are 4-1 ATS at home this year, and that one loss was to the Lions.
Best Bet: Minnesota Vikings Moneyline (-180)

Trevor Lawrence is likely to be back for the Jags this week, but should that really matte? Things weren’t exactly going swimmingly for Jacksonville while he was in there. The Texans are not as good as most of us thought they would be before the season began, but they’re still the best team in this division. After an embarrassing division loss to the Titans last week, Houston simply has to win this one.

Drake Maye has been quite a pickle this year. He has made the Patriots look competitive some weeks, but in others he’s been unable to rally the troops. So, instead of a result bet, we dug deep on sports betting sites to find a prop. This won’t be a blowout, so we like Rhamondre Stevenson to have success against Indy’s 6th-worst rush defense. He had 20 carries in back-to-back games before last week’s early rout at the hands of the Dolphins.
Best Bet: Rhamondre Stevenson Over 51.5 Rush Yards (-110)

At this point, we’re firmly off the Falcons bandwagon. Other than a pair of gun-slinging wins against the Bucs and a whacky finish against the Eagles, they have looked decidedly mediocre. They go up against the Chargers this week, and while they are at home, we think L.A.’s No. 1 ranked scoring defense (15.9) will win the day here.
Best Bet: Los Angeles Chargers Moneyline (-120)

Mike Tomlin teams are going to play down to the worst squads in football when they’re favorites… but they’re going to fight like hell when they’re underdogs. Tomlin is 61-31-3 ATS as an underdog in his career, an insane 65.8 cover rate that is matched by only two other active coaches. As if we needed: Cincy is 1-4 ATS at home this year too.
Best Bet: Pittsburgh Steelers +3.0 Point Spread (-110)

We’re not quite sure how the Jets are still getting a… we don’t even know what it would be… a New York bump? An Aaron Rodgers bump? Whatever it is, there is no way in the world that they should be giving us pick ‘em odds against the Seahawks, even if the game is in New York. As we are wont to say, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

It’s 2024, and you don’t have to be an expert to see an NFL tank. However, the Titans turned it on for a game last week and stole one, so we expect them to go back into their shell this week and get back with the program. That works out perfectly, because the Commanders just lost a “gimme game” against the hapless Cowboys and will be dialed in at home to get their first win since Week 9.
Best Bet: Washington Commanders -6.0 Point Spread (-110)
