Teaser cards are pretty polarizing within the NFL betting community, but we believe they can be a great way to get some safety while still enjoying the excitement of a parlay. For our purposes, we’re going to stick with the standard six-leg, six-point teaser card. That means that we’ll get jolly good +500 odds on our teaser, and we get to buy six points on each of the point spreads we bet on. Let’s hop to it, shall we!

Cincinnati Bengals (-5.0) @ Tennessee Titans - 1PM
The 2024 Bengals have to be one of the best 5-8 teams in NFL history. It’s bonkers how good that offense is: Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are both vying for their respective position’s triple crown this year. It’s just that Cincy defense that can’t stop a Spaniard in a bull run. However, this Titans offense is bad enough for Burrow and company to get the last laugh. They have been winning the games they should be after all: they’re 5-0 ATS in their last five games as favorites of 4+ points.
Teaser Pick: Cincinnati Bengals
Dallas Cowboys @ Carolina Panthers (-2.5) - 1PM
The Panthers are for real. Bryce Young is for real. And when we mean for real, we mean no longer a laughingstock. This has been one of the feistiest underdogs this league has seen in many years: they have covered five straight underdog spreads of 6.5 points or more. We’ve been rolling with them since the Giants win, and we’re not going to stop now. They haven’t been favored in a game in two years, and they really do deserve it here. The Cowboys haven’t beaten a team outside the NFC East since Week 5 either, so we feel safe especially with the tease cushion.
Teaser Pick: Carolina Panthers
New York Jets (-3.5) @ Jacksonville Jaguars - 1PM
If sportsbooks didn’t have to pay the Aaron Rodgers/Jets tax, New York would have a much more impressive record against the spread. Somehow, they’ve been favored in all but four games. But, they’ve only lost two games by one possession since Week 2, and they’ve had some pretty bad breaks late in games. We don’t expect that to be an issue here. The Jaguars may have gotten a feel-good divisional win last week, but they’ll be looking to pack it in now with Mac Jones under center. Rodgers will want to win this one a lot more than the Jags, if anything just to maintain some level of pride.
Teaser Pick: New York Jets
Washington Commanders (-7.5) @ New Orleans Saints - 1PM
The Saints have actually been a decent team when Derek Carr is in there. With their QB1, they have gone 5-5, but when he’s missed games, they’re 0-3. And they didn’t just lose those games, they got manhandled in each one, losing by 24, 23, and 18. With Carr out again here and Jake Haener stepping in for his first career start, it could get ugly. Jayden Daniels and the Commanders offense has more than enough firepower to cover both our teaser spread and the real -7.5 point spread here. Heck, we wouldn’t be surprised if Washington won by double digits.
Teaser Pick: Washington Commanders
Indianapolis Colts @ Denver Broncos (-4.0) - 4:25PM
Sean Payton’s guys are a pristine 6-0 ATS when they’re favored to win this year, the only team with a perfect record. The Colts started off this season 7-1 ATS, but since then, they’ve gone 1-4, including a 1-3 record as the dog. Anthony Richardson has been an absolute mess over the last two weeks, and this Denver defense is top 10 in turnovers and No. 1 in sacks, with 47. No doubt they’re going to give the 2nd-year Colts QB fits at Mile High.
Teaser Pick: Denver Broncos
Pittsburgh Steelers (+5.5) @ Philadelphia Eagles - 4:25PM
It is true that the Steelers have historically had trouble with the Eagles—a lot of trouble. They have not won in the City of Brotherly Love since The Sound of Music was the No. 1 movie in the nation, seven years before Mike Tomlin was even born. However, Coach T’s record as an underdog is well-documented. The wily veteran has a 66.1 cover rate as an underdog in his career, 3rd-best among active head coaches.
And then there’s all that locker room drama over in Philly right now too. That generally results in losses at some point. We might consider taking Pittsburgh straight up here (Tomlin is 44-40 straight up as a dog) so the +11.0 teaser spread feels as safe and cozy as a down feather duvet.
Teaser Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers
