Barcelona vs Real Betis Odds

By no surprise, Barca is a heavy -270 favorite to win on Saturday. Betis comes back as a huge underdog at +600 at soccer betting sites. The Over/Under is set at 3.5 goals due to the high-scoring affairs in recent memory. The last five meetings all cashed the Over and Barcelona is unbeaten during that span, winning four of those matches.

Barcelona vs Real Betis Analysis

The La Liga title is very much in play for Barcelona, who are also in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. Hansi Flick’s men have a 21-3-5 record in Spain, sitting three points clear of rivals Real Madrid, who are in second place. The Catalans have bagged a mind-boggling 82 goals while conceding just 28. This attack has been on absolute fire all season long.

Robert Lewandowski is leading the way. The Poland international has scored 25 times already, while Brazilian Raphinha has 13 goals of his own as well. Ferran Torres, Lamine Yamal, and Dani Olmo are key contributors in the final third as well.

Lewandowski was the difference-maker in the 4-1 victory against Girona on matchday 29, netting a brace. Torres also scored while a Girona own goal was the cause for the fourth. Barca is riding an insane 21-game unbeaten run, last tasting defeat in December. They also beat Betis in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 a few months back.

Betis is having a respectable campaign of their own. They’re in sixth spot and just six points out of fourth place. The club has a 13-8-8 record and has won six games in a row. The victory over Sevilla in the Sevilla derby saw Cucho Hernandez bag the winner just before halftime.

Manuel Pelligrini’s side has also grabbed three victories in their last four matches away from home, which is a promising sign ahead of such a crucial encounter. The last time they beat Barcelona on the road was back in December of 2021.

Barcelona vs Real Betis Injury News

Barcelona is going to be without a plethora of players on Saturday, including Olmo, Marc Bernal, Andreas Christensen, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and potentially Yamal, who is battling a minor knock. He cut his foot in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday. As for Betis, Marc Roca is doubtful due to injury, while former Real Madrid man Isco is serving a suspension. Man United loanee Antony will get another start amid his blistering form since arriving in Seville.

Barcelona vs Real Betis Picks

While I do believe Barcelona will secure another three points, the moneyline doesn’t offer much value. Instead, I’m eyeing the Over 3.5 goals due to the history between these two clubs. Expect lots of goals in Catalonia on Saturday.
