Bodog bettors have requested a ton of NFL specials ahead of the start of the 2024-2025 season
Right now, a ton of football specials are being offered on Bodog. But a lot of the Bodog football specials aren’t regular specials that were chosen by the sportsbook. They’re specials that were requested by Bodog’s bettors, also known as requested specials. Many betting sites have specials for a league that bettors won’t find on every sportsbook. Bodog has these specials and requested specials.
BetVictor currently has a lot of soccer specials, but those specials weren’t requested by bettors. The sportsbook has a ton of options, offering manager specials, transfer specials, and team specials. Many of the betting markets should be attractive to soccer bettors. The only problem is some of the betting markets will be unattractive for a cohort of soccer bettors also. Bodog’s requested specials provide a solution for this problem by allowing their bettors to request specials and by giving bettors the ability to bet on specials that were requested by other bettors.
How to request a special
Bettors first need to create an account with Bodog if they would like to request a special. From there, bettors have three options for requesting specials on Bodog. Bettors can request a special via email, Twitter/X, and the live chat. Specials can be requested for a lot of sports, not just football, and leagues. But whether or not the special is added to the sportsbook is up to Bodog.
To request a special, bettors need to provide Bodog with the sport, league, betting market — Josh Allen over five games with 300 yards passing during the regular season for example — and any other information requested by the sportsbook. Outside of those, there aren’t many rules and restrictions for requesting a special. Bodog will select the odds for your requested special if it is accepted. Bettors can request a bet for one outcome. One requested special that is currently being offered is for the Carolina Panthers to go 0-17 this season. Or bettors have the option to combine a few outcomes as they would with a parlay. Some selections can’t be combined for a parlay, but bettors might be able to combine those same selections on a requested special.
Specials available
At the moment, Bodog is offering around 150 requested specials for the NFL and five for college football. There is a lot of variety for the NFL. Requested specials are available for a ton of teams and players. The Detroit Lions, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, and Houston Texans to all make the playoffs is +800. Any player to have 56 or more regular season passing touchdowns is +750. The special with the shortest odds at the moment is Seahawks under 11.5 regular season wins and Miami Dolphins under 12.5 regular season wins at -390.
Two specials are tied for the longest odds. The Kansas City Chiefs, Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, and Dallas Cowboys to all score 1 or more touchdowns in every regular season game is at +50000. The other special at +50000 is for Najee Harris to have 1000+ rushing yards combined with five receivers to go over a specified number of receiving yards.
