Copa America 2024: Best Bets & Parlay | June 30

Group B has been one of the most unpredictable groups in a major tournament in recent memory, with the nation many thought would finish last, Venezuela, going into Matchday 3 with all six points. The only question is, can they keep it up? And who will join them in the next round out of Mexico and Ecuador? Our soccer betting parlay answers those questions in the most lucrative way possible.

Venezuela vs. Jamaica Best Bet:

Odds provided by Betway.

Jamaica Double Chance (-115) | Betway

Venezuela has been on a run for the ages in this tournament. This is just the third time in their history that they’ve won multiple group stage games, but the trends point to their run of good form/good luck running out on Sunday.

Venezuela has never won three games in the group stage at a Copa America, and they haven’t won three straight matches since October of 2019. Jamaica also hasn’t lost three straight matches since January 2022, so all signs point to the Reggae Boyz coming away from this one with at least a little something.

The success of the Venezuelans has also been a little bit of a paper tiger situation. They were blessed by an early red card against Ecuador, and against Mexico they were thoroughly outplayed apart from the 15-minute stretch after half when they earned the game-winning penalty.

We would’ve appreciated some plus odds from sports betting sites on Jamaica’s double-chance considering the records of both nations so far in this tourney, but we’ll take -115.

Mexico vs. Ecuador Best Bet:

Mexico Double Chance (-213) | Betway

Both of these sides beat up on Jamaica and suffered a shocking loss to Venezuela, and now, the nations that most were expecting to finish first and second in this group now have to win this match to get through, though a lack of goals does put the onus a bit more on the Mexicans.

Mexico has won or drawn 22 of 26 matches against the Ecuadorians, including 14 of the 17 meetings since 2000. Ecuador has won a few matchups recently, but we believe Mexico has been the better-looking side so far in this tournament, and their extra need for the three points will ensure they come hard out of the gates.

Mexico vs. Ecuador Best Bet:

Both Teams To Score (+100) | Betway

Both of these teams have looked very likely to score during this tournament, with Ecuador putting up three against Jamaica and even scoring one with just 10 men against Venezuela.

Mexico has also been good in the attacking phase despite missing that final pass in many instances; they have 3.85 xG in those two games, and they’ve put together six big chances and 14 shots on goals.

Ecuador’s last four matches have seen both sides score at least one goal, and Mexico has only kept two clean sheets in their last six matches. If Mexico scores first, this one should be a high-scoring affair.
