There weren’t many giving Canada a chance in heck in their opener against Argentina, but they put forth a very impressive performance, keeping the match scoreless for the first half before conceding twice in the later stages.

However, they had more than enough chances of their own, showing that they not only had the quality to create issues for the No. 1 team in the world, but that they had the belief to keep pushing and play Argentina in a shrewd but cheeky manner.

Chile has also been historically awful against Argentina, winning just eight of their 95 fixtures over the years.
