The third day of the 2024 Copa America presents some tasty betting opportunities with Group B action getting underway, and we’ve got you covered with a treble parlay of value picks. We’re liking Ecuador’s and Mexico’s odds to win their respective matches and establish themselves atop the group, while also warming to Enner Valencia’s big game experience to find the back of the net against Venezuela.

Ecuador to Win  (-119) | BetPlays  

Sometimes sports betting sites take, but sometimes they give, and these odds for Ecuador are an example of their rarely-seen giving nature. Usually, for soccer betting, the moneyline odds have a bit more juice because of the possibility of a draw, but even so, -119 for Ecuador here feels like an oversight.

Since 2011, Venezuela has lost four, drawn five, and won one against El Tri, who also hold a 17-7-12 all-time record in this fixture, which dates back to 1938.

Since last fall, Venezuela has also won just two of their nine matches, one of which was largely the result of a Chilean red card. Ecuador, meanwhile, won six of their 11 games over that stretch, with two of their three losses coming against Argentina. The last time these squads met, it ended 0-0. We like Ecuador to get a decisive goal this time around to get the win at -119 odds.

Enner Valencia Anytime Scorer (+175) | Betway 

Betway is offering solid odds for Enner Valencia to score, as he is probably the best and most experienced player that will feature in this match. He has played against Venezuela five times in his international career, scoring in three of those, including his most recent matchup with Vinotinto in 2021.

Valencia may be aging, but he’s still got a spring in his step, as he started the last two matches in the lead-up to the Copa, scoring against Bolivia on June 12. We like him to do the same to Venezuela at +175 odds.

Mexico to Win  (-159) | BetPlays

Mexico has won 22 of 32 editions of this fixture, including a 6-3-2 record since 2013. Last year, in the Gold Cup semifinals, El Tricolor took down the Reggae Boyz 3-0. Jamaica has performed well in recent Gold Cups, but they’ve been to two Copas before, in 2015 and 2016, and they didn’t win a game in either.
