Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat Play-In Game - Best Bets & Betting Odds

Bulls vs. Heat Point Spread/Moneyline Prediction
The Bulls are getting hot at just the right time. They have the fifth-best record in the East since the All-Star break, and since March 6, they are 15-5 straight up. Miami, meanwhile, has been a bit erratic over the last month and a half. They followed a 10-game losing streak with a six-game winning streak before wrapping up the campaign on a 2-4 run.
Chicago’s lineup is chock full of exciting youngsters, and we believe that exuberance will pay dividends against what feels like an exhausted Heat team, both physically and mentally. The Jimmy Butler fiasco loomed over them for much of the season, and we don’t think they’ve had sufficient time to create a post-Butler identity that can lead them to the real postseason.
Previous meetings don’t always mean everything, but it’s worth noting the Bulls are 3-0 against the Heat this year, including a big win just last week. Chicago is rolling, so we’ll back the betting apps and simply take their favorites for this game straight up on the moneyline.
Best Bet: Chicago Bulls Moneyline (-115)
Bulls vs. Heat Over/Under Prediction
The Bulls have been seeing a lot of big numbers for their over/unders recently, while the Heat have been seeing a lot of smaller totals. Eight of the last 12 Miami games with a total under 220 like this matchup have gone over the total, however. Meanwhile, only two Chicago games have finished under that 220-point threshold since January 25, a span of 36 games. All three previous meetings between these teams this season have soared past this total as well.
Best Bet: Game Total Points Over 219.0 (-110)
Player Prop Best Bet
The exact prop numbers for the players are still on the board for this one, but we can make an educated guess based on previous lines. The guy we’re looking at here is Bulls guard Coby White. There might not be a hotter player in basketball since the start of March.
He has scored 25+ points in 14 of his 20 appearances since then, and we think he’s going to get back on the horse after back-to-back sub-20 point games to cap the season. No one in Miami’s backcourt is exactly known for their defensive prowess either, so we like him to bounce back from an unlucky 0-for-5 night last time out against Miami last week.
Best Bet: Coby White 25+ Points (-125)/Betway
