Real Madrid vs Arsenal Odds

Despite getting embarrassed last week in North London, Madrid is a heavy -138 moneyline favorite here. As for the Gunners, they come back as a heavy underdog at soccer betting sites.

Real Madrid vs Arsenal Analysis

Carlo Ancelotti’s side is certainly in trouble when it comes to eyeing a 16th Champions League title after Arsenal ran riot on them a week ago. Declan Rice’s two world-class free kicks were the difference-maker as the Gunners kept Real’s potent attack at bay at the Emirates. It will take a heroic comeback to progress to another semifinal, and while it’s an uphill battle, this is the one club that is capable of doing so.

Los Blancos have overcome huge obstacles in the past to get to the next stage in Europe, most recently against Manchester City and Chelsea. That being said, the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Vinicius Junior need to be at their absolute best. The La Liga title is also moving further out of reach, with Barcelona sitting four points clear at the top. A trophy-less campaign may be in the cards if Real doesn’t figure things out soon.

Arsenal is well on its way to yet another runner-up finish in the Premier League, which is disappointing for their fans because they continuously fall just short in the England top flight. But the Gunners’ success in the Champions League is giving the diehard supporters something to be happy about. Mikel Arteta’s group was impressive in the group stages, and they’ve carried that momentum into the knockout rounds.

The North Londoners hammered PSG Eindhoven 9-3 on aggregate in the Round of 16 before pulling off the upset in the opening leg against Madrid. Arsenal truly played some of their best football of the campaign versus the holders, with Rice playing hero. Mikel Merino added the third with a tidy finish of his own. The Gunners are certainly in the driver's seat for Wednesday’s affair.

Real Madrid vs Arsenal Injury News

Eduardo Camavinga will need to sit out the second leg after being handed a red card in North London. Ferland Mendy, Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, and Andriy Lunin are all sidelined as well with injuries. As for Arsenal, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, and Takehiro Tomiyasu are among the absentees still, while Jorginho is also in the treatment room.

Real Madrid vs Arsenal Picks

While I do believe Arsenal will advance due to their massive lead on aggregate, I do not see Madrid slipping up again, especially on home soil. They will come out victorious, but the visitors will be the ones clinching their spot in the last four. Take the Los Blancos moneyline.
