Carlos Alcaraz

Alcaraz is solidifying himself as one of the best players in the world. The youngster is currently the No. 3 ranked player on the ATP Tour and has won two of the three Majors this season at Wimbledon and the French Open. Overall, he has three titles in ‘24 and a 38-7 record on the year. While Alcaraz just lost to Djokovic in the Olympic final, he’s shown that he can beat the Serb. It would not be surprising to see the two meet in the US Open final. That’s yet to happen in Flushing Meadows. Alcaraz has +130 odds at Sports Interaction.

Novak Djokovic

Nole just became the oldest player to win a gold medal in Olympic tennis when he took down Alcaraz in the final in Paris. He’s accomplished all there is to accomplish in this sport and has already solidified himself as the GOAT. But, that doesn’t mean Djokovic is settling. The Serbian is hungry to add to his 24 Majors, which is a record that will probably never be caught. We know the Aussie Open is his most successful Grand Slam but Nole has also won the US Open on four occasions. He will have a target on his back after winning last September. Djokovic’s odds aren’t far behind Alcaraz at tennis betting sites.

Jannik Sinner

The last year has been career-changing for Jannik Sinner. The Italian is the No. 1 ranked player in the world after collecting four titles this season and a 42-4 record. He won his first Major earlier in the season at the Australian Open, defeating Daniil Medvedev in the final. Sinner has made the quarterfinals at the very least in every single tournament in ‘24. He was a quarterfinalist at the US Open in 2022, his best showing at the tournament.

Daniil Medvedev

Medvedev is always one to watch. He’s ranked fifth on the tour right now but it hasn’t been the best season for the Russian. He’s yet to win a tournament and owns a 35-11 record. Medvedev just bowed out in the Round of 16 at the Olympics. The veteran made the finals at the Aussie Open and the semis at Wimbledon, however. He’s been on the doorstep of winning a Major. Medvedev was the 2021 US Open winner.

Alexander Zverev

After a few years of injuries and off-court issues, Zverev is back in the mix as one of the top players. He was in the final at Roland Garros before losing to Alcaraz and also progressed to the semis at the Australian Open where Medvedev eliminated him. Zverev won the United Cup in Perth prior to the festivities in Melbourne, his lone title of the season. The German was a US Open finalist four years ago.
